Kudos!
October 2020 (Internal)

A wall of kudos!

Thank you very much for having one of your crews clean the sidewalks under the 52 overpass on Regents Road. I walk on the sidewalk there nearly everyday and it is now much safer to walk there because of the cleanup performed by your crew. – Carl

I would like to thank you and convey our sincere appreciation for your continuing work with the Vista PWD during this Covid-19 pandemic. I know it has been very challenging for you, especially for resources including personnel and materials. It takes a team to work successfully during a crisis and you have been a great partner. We look forward to continuing our business relationship with you. – City of Vista, Public Works

I just wanted to share this photo that I took this morning of the outstanding work that the UC team is doing for the Buesig family at 4114 Manzanita Dr. I just wished I had taken a before shot of the same location as it would show the wall of vegetation including a big stand of Arundo Donax (a giant weed) that was there before they cut, trimmed and hauled it away. This is making the entire neighborhood more fire safe. Thank you so much!!! Also, the daughter of the elderly couple there passed me on the street in her truck and stopped to tell me how very thrilled they are to get this incredible gift! – Linda

I wanted to send a quick note to let everyone know that we wrapped up the work at the Southcrest site last week, and to express my appreciation for the great work by the Urban Corps team. I especially want to recognize Walter Cubero, who was there both for the kickoff and the closeout of the project. He did a wonderful job, and we look forward to working with him and the rest of the Urban Corps team again in the future! Thanks to the team’s good work, we finished considerably ahead of schedule…Again, thank you very much to everyone for the good work, and we look forward to doing more in the very near future! – Kirstin
